We are looking for individuals who are sales and customer- service oriented to join our team. Applicants should be flexible to day, evening and weekend shifts. The ideal applicant will have a positive, enthusiastic attitude for retail sales, and an eagerness to learn about fine jewellery, gemstones, and brand name watches.

The job duties include the following:

• Supervising the day to day operations of their store.
• Hiring, training, and motivating a team of approximately eight employees.
• Supporting and coaching employees to reach their goals and sales targets.
• Maintaining and growing their store’s clientele base.
• Providing the best possible customer service and formulating ways to enhance the customer experience.
• Assessing, recommending, and implementing ways to improve the merchandising strategy of their store.
• Updating displays and merchandising to enhance the look and attractiveness of their store.

Experience: The candidate should have the following qualities:

• Minimum of three years in retail/customer service.
• Must have retail management experience with a proven track record.
• Jewellery experience and knowledge preferred but is not required, as training is provided by the company.
• An entrepreneurial mind with leadership type qualities.
• Organized, able to work independently, and have the ability to take initiative to run the store as their business.

Ann-Louise is a leading Canadian retail jewellery chain with 15 locations across British Columbia and Alberta. Established in 1983, we specialize in fine diamond and gold jewellery, as well as world renowned brands such as Pandora, Swarovski, Longines, and Tissot.

We are looking to add an additional member to our tight-knit senior management team. Reporting directly to the President, you will learn about all aspects of our business and play a critical role in many of our behind-the-scenes projects. With a special focus on Talent Acquisition and team building, your contribution will help solidify our leading position within the jewellery retail market and create the infrastructure necessary for future growth.

• Experience with training and developing a retail sales team.
• Naturally curious. An ideal candidate would be interested to learn about all aspects of our business as opportunities arise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with a focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel. Your ability to navigate these platforms with ease will streamline our operations and enhance productivity across the board.

We are seeking a Jewellery Designer to join the merchandising team. The role will be based at our head office located in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be involved with the entire merchandising process from developing a concept to bringing the product to market.

The job duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in creation of jewellery design concepts
• Develop and design custom made pieces for clients.
• Develop product for the diamond and coloured stone jewellery categories.
• Develop a merchandising plan and source appropriate merchandise for our stores.
• Research and analyze market data to identify jewellery trends.
• Maintain effective communication with existing vendors and potential suppliers. Request product information, communicate manufacturing specs, negotiate prices, and coordinate delivery schedule
• Conduct regular quality checks on incoming jewellery shipments to ensure they meet our high standards. Address any quality issues with suppliers and follow up on resolutions.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Experience with jewellery design, including the ability to draw jewellery.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with RHINO and/or Matrix Jewellery Design Software would be considered an asset.
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Canadian jewellery market would be considered an asset
• Previous experience working with jewellery manufactures would be considered an asset

Wage: $35,000-$55,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
