Ann-Louise Jewellers is a leading Canadian jewellery retailer with 14 locations across B.C. and Alberta. Established in 1983, our reputation has been built on quality, value, and excellence in service. We pride ourselves with assisting our customers to make that special moment extra memorable.

We are seeking a Jewellery Designer to join the merchandising team. The role will be based at our head office located in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be involved with the entire merchandising process from developing a concept to bringing the product to market.

The job duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in creation of jewellery design concepts
  • Develop and design custom made pieces for clients.
  • Develop product for the diamond and coloured stone jewellery categories.
  • Develop a merchandising plan and source appropriate merchandise for our stores.
  • Research and analyze market data to identify jewellery trends.
  • Maintain effective communication with existing vendors and potential suppliers. Request product information, communicate manufacturing specs, negotiate prices, and coordinate delivery schedule
  • Conduct regular quality checks on incoming jewellery shipments to ensure they meet our high standards. Address any quality issues with suppliers and follow up on resolutions.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience with jewellery design, including the ability to draw jewellery.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with RHINO and/or Matrix Jewellery Design Software would be considered an asset.
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Canadian jewellery market would be considered an asset
  • Previous experience working with jewellery manufactures would be considered an asset

Ann-Louise is a Canadian family-owned business, in operation since 1983.
The company originally started in jewelry wholesale, and gradually shifted into retail. The business grew and soon was counting five store locations within the Greater Vancouver area. Having continued to expand since, the Ann-Louise brand name is now one of the leading jewelry retailers in Western Canada with 14 locations.

There is plenty we can teach you. We offer training on our products as well as the option to take a course on diamond grading. We encourage learning at every level and will provide you a place to do so.
